2. PURPOSE
These Terms of Sale govern all purchases of digital educational products and services made through the website conceptcore.co (the "Site"). By placing an order, the Client accepts these Terms without reservation.
The Company offers three categories of products:
Masterclasses: Pre-recorded digital video courses on concept art and related disciplines.
Live Classes: Cohort-based courses conducted live over approximately 6 to 8 weeks, typically via platforms such as Discord.
Mentorship Programs: Structured one-on-one or group mentorship sessions with professional artists, conducted over a defined period.
3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
3.1 Masterclasses
Masterclasses are pre-recorded digital courses. They may be offered as:
- Available Now: The Client receives immediate access upon payment.
- Pre-sale: The Client purchases the course before its release date. Access is granted automatically on the launch date indicated on the product page. The pre-sale price may differ from the final retail price.
3.2 Live Classes
Live Classes are scheduled educational events with a defined start and end date.
- Access takes place on third-party platforms (e.g., Discord).
- Ticket types may include:
- Feedback Ticket: Includes personalized critique and feedback from the instructor.
- Spectator Ticket: View-only access without personalized feedback.
- The Client is responsible for verifying that they meet any prerequisites (skills, software) listed on the product page before purchasing.
3.3 Mentorship Programs
Mentorship Programs provide direct guidance from professional artists over a set number of weeks or sessions.
- The scope, schedule, and format of each program are described on its product page.
- The Client is responsible for attending scheduled sessions. Missed sessions are not automatically rescheduled unless otherwise stated in the program description.
4. PRICING
All prices are displayed in Euros and include applicable taxes (TTC) for France at the time of the order. The Company reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but orders are invoiced at the rate in effect when the order is validated.
5. ORDERS AND PAYMENT
Order validation: An order is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. The Client receives an email confirming the order.
Payment methods: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. The Company does not store credit card details.
Account: The Client may need to create an account to access purchased content. The Client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
6. DELIVERY AND ACCESS
6.1 Masterclasses
- For standard purchases: Access is granted immediately via the Client's account.
- For pre-sales: Access is granted on the release date communicated on the product page. The Company will notify the Client by email of any changes to the release schedule.
6.2 Live Classes
- Access instructions (e.g., Discord invite link) are sent by email before the course start date.
- If a Client misses a live session, replays may be provided at the discretion of the instructor. This is specified on the product page.
6.3 Mentorship Programs
- Access details and scheduling information are communicated by email after purchase.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
7.1 Digital Content (Masterclasses - Immediate Access)
In accordance with Article L221-28, 13 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby forfeit their right of withdrawal. By purchasing a Masterclass and accessing the content, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal.
7.2 Pre-sales
For pre-sale purchases, the Client may request a full refund at any time before the content is released and made accessible. Once the content is released and the Client gains access, the waiver described in Section 7.1 applies.
7.3 Live Classes
Refunds for Live Classes are available up to 14 days before the course start date. After the course has begun, no refund will be issued.
7.4 Mentorship Programs
Refunds for Mentorship Programs are available up to 14 days before the program start date. Once the program has begun, no refund will be issued for remaining sessions.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content provided through the Company's products (including videos, PDFs, resources, assignments, and instructor feedback) is the exclusive intellectual property of CONCEPTCORE and the respective contributing artists.
The purchase of any product grants the Client a strictly personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and view the content for private educational purposes only.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing account credentials with third parties
- Downloading, recording, or screen-capturing content unless explicitly permitted
- Reselling, redistributing, or publicly displaying any course materials
- Using content for commercial purposes without written authorization
Violation of these provisions will result in immediate account termination without refund and may lead to legal proceedings.
9. CODE OF CONDUCT
Live Classes and Mentorship Programs may involve community interaction on platforms such as Discord. The Company maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, discrimination, and disruptive behavior. The Company reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these standards, without refund.
10. LIABILITY
The Company produces its courses to high professional standards. However, the Company undertakes an obligation of means (obligation de moyens), not an obligation of results. The Company does not guarantee specific career outcomes, employment, or artistic results from the use of its products.
The Company is not liable for technical issues related to the Client's internet connection, hardware, software, or third-party platform outages (e.g., Discord, Stripe).
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND MEDIATION
In the event of a dispute, the Client is encouraged to contact the Company first at aurel@conceptcore.co to seek an amicable resolution.
In accordance with Articles L611-1 and R612-1 of the French Consumer Code, if no satisfactory resolution is reached, the Client may refer the dispute to a consumer mediator free of charge. Information on consumer mediation is available at https://www.economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso.
12. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably or through mediation, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
